Real capital. Real farms. Real returns.
Every loan we issue is documented, tracked, and reported. Our repayment discipline keeps the fund alive for the next borrower — that's how a cooperative should work.
- Overdue penalty rule doubles the effective rate — encourages on-time repayment.
- Every payment produces a branded PDF receipt.
- Row-level security and audit logs on every table.
- Excel and PDF reports for regulators and cooperative meetings.

Frequently asked questions
- Who can apply for an IAYE agricultural loan?
- Young farmers, agri-processors and agri-business owners operating in Sierra Leone. You need a valid ID, a guarantor, and a description of the farm or enterprise the loan will support.
- How much can I borrow and in what currency?
- Loans are issued in Sierra Leonean Leones (SLE). Loan sizes are set case by case based on your enterprise, repayment capacity and guarantor, starting from small first-cycle loans that grow with your repayment history.
- How is the interest rate decided?
- Interest is agreed with your loan officer and recorded on each individual loan, because different agricultural loan products carry different rates. The exact rate and total repayable amount appear on your loan record and on every receipt.
- What happens if I repay late?
- Overdue loans attract an additional interest charge under the terms agreed at approval. Your outstanding balance, principal and interest are always visible in your customer portal so there are no surprises.
- How do I apply and how long does approval take?
- Apply online from the Apply section of this page or from your customer portal. A loan officer reviews the application, may contact you for documents, and the decision is recorded in your portal. Most reviews are completed within a few working days.
- How do I track my loan and repayments?
- Sign in and open My Loans to see your approved amount, interest, payments made, outstanding balance and upcoming due dates, with printable receipts for every repayment.
